How will you create time sheets for team members?

If you are working on a computer, then you need to follow these guidelines:

  • Choose Time Entries and then click on Time Sheets


o   In the Time Entries  and then click on Timesheets

o   Choose Add Time. The editor timesheet will be displayed.

o   Type the name of the team member

o   If your team member is still working, select the Currently working.

o   Type the date and time, and then click on Save. The new timesheet will be displayed at the top of Timesheets.

Contact QuickBooks Support if you are stuck in between

  • If you are thinking for manual work done


o   IN the Time Entries click on Manual Time Card.

o   Choose the specified range of date.

o   If you are trying to enter working hours for some other member click on Switch User, and type a name.

o   If you are thinking to track time against a job or customer, click on No Job or no Customer and then choose this from the list.

o   Click inside the cell to type the working hours

o   Type your notes for that day.

o   Keep on adding the working hours and working notes

o   Before going to next week, click on Save

·  Time Slider

o   In the Time Slider tab, click on Time Entries 

o   In time zone, type the name of team member and click on Add User.

o   On the top right, choose the working hours of team member.

o   Set up the timings, and then release so that modified time can be saved. The Timesheet Editor will be displayed.

o   If required, modify the clock-in and clock-out timing, and fill out all the necessary fields

o   If the team member are still working, click on Currently working.

o   Choose Save.

  • Who's working


o   In the Who's Working window tab, choose any of the team member

o   Choose the edit icon from the tab. The Timesheet Editor will be displayed.

o   If required, modify the clock-in and clock-out timing, and fill out all the necessary fields

o   If the team member are still working, click on Currently working.

o   Choose Save.

How will you edit and Delete timesheets for team member?

If you are using a computer, follow the instructions guided by QuickBooks Support

· Click to open Timesheets

· Then click on Time Entries tab

· If you want to edit the timesheet

o Click on the pencil icon to edit the details

o The timesheet editor will be displayed

o Make all the edits, and click on Save

· If you want to delete the member of timesheet

o   Click on Bin icon
