What is the Future for QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions?

The large businesses operate in the market with a greater thrust making use of the resources at their disposable more aggressively than the small businesses which cannot afford to use their resources at such a rate. And since these enterprises or the large companies are a huge potential buyer for Intuit the company is now paying even more closer attention to these enterprises trying to understand their needs and satiate them.

As per the data given by Intuit itself the enterprises contributes 75 per cent of its revenues although their representation is a mere 10 per cent of the total clients that the company has. This clearly shows the untapped market that the company has for the grab and there is plethora of facts that supports all the needed steps that the company can take in order to divert these enterprises in their cadre before any counterpart takes them in theirs.

While there are enough reasons for the company to go ahead with a special focus on the enterprises solution as in the past we have seen Intuit taking dedicated steps to cater to the demand of these entities. For e.g. Enterprises consumes more services offered by Intuit such as payroll management and inventory management than any other segment. Besides, the consumption of the inventory is seen more in the enterprises than the other segment such as premium users. Intuit introduced a new feature called the advance reporting which made exclusive for the enterprises.

Billing The Enterprises

The price that is charged from these enterprises for taking the QuickBooks Support has also gone through an array of changes keeping in mind the cost-effective element. While the services by Intuit are always robust and proportionate to the money that it charges but for pricing the small business an extra layer was added to keep the satisfaction levels in place.

Some of the major changes in the billing strategy for enterprise solutions are as follows:

• Intuit leaped to a subscription based model instead of the earlier purchase based model.

• A customer or an enterprise will get all the features at a relatively lesser price as compared to a mix of some features in comparison to the purchase model.

• For e.g. an enterprise will have to subscribe to a $3400 plan where it can get features such as Advance inventory along with payroll facilities for all the employees of the company.

• Other plans such as a subscription for $ 2800 will be give the services like advance reporting.

• In relativity to other features such as $3100 where one can get advance reporting and full-service plan. Hence the better the plan the better the services offered by Intuit.

Keeping in view the huge potential for these enterprises to adopt to the QuickBooks the company has also come with its continuous updates policy where all the possible changes for any feature will be given on periodic basis as and when they will be available for the customers’ use.

And while these updates are given in regular intervals to the clients it will be interesting to observe the response of the enterprises themselves as the bulk of managing the affairs will be more which would require more of other services offered by the company.
